This week we’re joined by Australian Music royalty, Mr Ben Lee! 

Ben’s been a staple of the Aussie music scene for decades - first breaking out as a teenager in the ‘90s, and going on to release iconic tracks like Catch My Disease, Cigarettes Will Kill You and We’re All in This Together. 

We chatted about how it all kicked off, what it was like growing up in the industry. His infamous feud with Bernard Fanning, and how he really feels about his songs being used in movies and ads as well as his friendships with people like Josh Radnor (Ted Mosby - How I Met Your Mother) and Zooey Deschanel (Jess - New girl). 

We also bonded over a shared love of Nathan Fielder, he shared stories about the best and worst gigs of his career, and heard all about his upcoming Australian tour celebrating 20 years of Awake Is the New Sleep.

Ben’s a brilliant artist, a genuine soul, and a bloody great chat.
